Installing a Windows 3.x Printer Driver:
  1. Choose the Main group in Program Manager.
  2. Open the Print Manager Icon.
  3. From the Options menu, choose Printer Setup.
  4. Choose the Add button from the Printers dialog box.
  5. In the List of Printer box, choose the Install Unlisted or Update printer entry.
  6. Choose the Install button.
  7. Insert the Driver Disk in drive a:
  8. Change directories to WIN3X,
  9. Choose the OK button in the Install Driver dialog box.
  10. Select the printer that you wish to install from the list of printers in the Add Unlisted or Updated Printer dialog box, and choose the OK button.
Installing a Windows 95/98 Printer Driver:
  1. Select the Settings entry from the Start menu.
  2. Select the Printers entry from the Settings menu.
  3. Double-click the Add Printer icon.
  4. Click the Next button.
  5. Determine how your printer is connected.
  6. Click the Next button.
  7. Click the Have Disk button.
  8. Put the Driver Disk into the drive a:.
  9. Click the OK button.
  10. Change directories to WIN95.
  11. Highlight the corresponding Eltron printer model.
  12. Click the Next button.
  13. Highlight the corresponding printer port.
  14. Click the Configure Port button to configure your port settings (refer to your printer manual for more details).
  15. Click the Next button.
  16. Click the Next button (do not change the printer name).
  17. Choose No (do not print a test page).
  18. Click the Finish button.
Installing a Windows NT 3.51 Printer Driver:
  1. Select the Settings entry from the Start menu.
  2. Select the Printers entry from the Settings menu.
  3. Double-click the Add Printer icon.
  4. Click the Next button.
  5. Determine how your printer is connected.
  6. Click the Next button.
  7. Click the Have Disk button.
  8. Put the Driver Disk into the drive a:.
  9. Change directories to NT351.
  10. Click the OK button.
  11. Highlight the corresponding Eltron printer model.
  12. Click the Next button.
  13. Highlight the corresponding printer port.
  14. Click the Configure Port button to configure your port settings (refer to your printer manual for more details).
  15. Click the Next button.
  16. Click the Next button (do not change the printer name).
  17. Choose No (do not print a test page).
  18. Click the Finish button.
Installing a Windows NT 4.0 Printer Driver:
  1. Select the Settings entry from the Start menu.
  2. Select the Printers entry from the Settings menu.
  3. Double-click the Add Printer icon. Make your choice and click the Next button.
  4. Select the Printer Port, click Next button.
  5. Click the Have Disk button.
  6. Put the Driver Disk into the drive a:.
  7. Change to the NT40 directory and click Open, then th OK button.
  8. Select the appropriate Eltron printer model and click Next (do not change the printer name).
  9. Select if you want to use this printer as a default printer.
  10. Specify if this printer should be shared or not with others.
  11. Choose No (do not print a test page).
  12. Click the Finish button.
Installing a Windows 2000 Printer Driver:
  1. Select the Settings entry from the Start menu.
  2. Select the Printers entry from the Settings menu.
  3. The Add Printer Wizard appears.
  4. Make your choice between a Local or a Network Printer.
  5. Double-click the Add Printer icon.
  6. Select the Printer Port, click Next button.
  7. Click the Have Disk button.
  8. Put the Driver Disk into your floppy drive.
  9. Change to the NT40 directory and click Open, then the OK button.
  10. Select the appropriate Eltron printer model and click Next (do not change the printer name).
  11. Select if you want to use this printer as a default printer.
  12. Specify if this printer should be shared or not with others.
  13. Choose No (do not print a test page).
  14. Click the Finish button.
  15. Digital Signature Not Found warning appears, click Yes. (This driver was written for WINNT4.0 and can be used with WIN 2000 OS).
